Brutalised women in Congo: organisation of the Congolese Women's World Walk for Justice
Le 30 juin, jour de l'indépendance de la République démocratique du Congo, une manifestation partira de Paris, composée de la diaspora congolaise en France, de militantes féministes, de politiques et de leaders d'opinion. 300km seront parcourus jusqu'à Bruxelles où sera déposée une plainte à la Cour Pénale Internationale.A l'occasion de cette conférence de presse, la marche "Ni violées, ni persécutées" organisée par Ni Putes ni Soumises et l'Action des journalistes de l'espace Schengen sera présentée, ainsi que la situation des femmes en RDC. Selon une récente étude publiée par The American Journal of Public Health, une forte augmentation des viols a été constatée en RDC, au rythme de 1152 femmes par jour, soit 48 femmes par heure en moyenne ...
