UNFPA report - "People and Possibilities in a World of 7 Billion" - Assessment of the global population in 2011
Au 31 octobre, la Terre comptera 7 milliards d'habitants, depuis 1950, la population mondiale a presque triplé. Vers le milieu de ce siècle, ce nombre de personnes de plus de 60 ans devrait presque tripler. Environ une personne sur deux vit maintenant dans une zone urbaine, la durée de vie moyenne est de 68 ans, elle était de 48 ans en 1950.Ce rapport examine la dynamique qui se cache derrière ces chiffres, il s'intéresse aux défis que nous avons à relever dans notre monde de 7 milliards. Le rapport donne un aperçu des défis démographiques très divers auxquels font face la Chine, l'Egypte, l'Ethiopie, l'Ex-république démographiqe de Macédoine, la Finlande, le Mexique, le Mozambique et le Nigeria. Ce document met aussi en lumière les immenses possibilités et les opportunités à exploiter
